Automated video editing & clipping
Media automation that connects the technical and editorial steps of clip production. I built transcript-driven discovery, briefs, and clip extraction, alongside editing pipelines for captions, reframing, rendering, and operator review.

The problem
Turning long-form media into useful clips requires a sequence of technical and editorial decisions. File transfer, transcription, selection, rendering, and handoff all need to agree on the same source and timing.
What I built
Built a production workflow for transcript-based selection, structured editorial briefs, and clean clip extraction, with operating and recovery documentation. Developed related editing pipelines for captions, speaker reframing, graphics, and assembly. The production brief-and-trim workflow and advanced editing experiments have different capabilities; the portfolio keeps that distinction explicit.
The result
Delivered repeatable editorial and clip-processing workflows and developed a broader automated editing toolchain. The engineering combines media processing, durable state, transfer-aware design, and human creative direction.
